9-10 December 2023 ; A group of 10 final year students from FKTK recently participated in a three-day intensive program titled ‘Program on Energy Sustainability & Transition and Insights to Graduate Engineers (PRESTIGE) 2023," conducted by the Malaysian Gas Association (MGA) in Penang. This program aims to provide students with comprehensive insights and knowledge on various aspects of energy sustainability and transition, while shedding light on the opportunities within the oil and gas industry.
The program was designed to achieve several objectives:
- Educating students about critical energy issues, emphasizing clean energy transition, and highlighting the value of natural gas in the current scenario.
- Inspiring and encouraging students to consider potential careers within the oil and gas industry, aiming to instill interest and passion in this sector.
- Offering insights into the job market landscape and assisting students in preparing for successful careers by providing them with relevant information and guidance.
The participating students gained invaluable knowledge, exposure, and inspiration from this prestigious event, positioning them for a potentially successful entry into the evolving landscape of the energy sector.
