April 2025
In the spirit of fostering community and togetherness, the Faculty of Chemical Engineering & Technology (FKTK), Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), successfully organized a series of events under the "Ihya' Ramadan FKTK 1446H" program throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
These meaningful activities, which included a Majlis Iftar, a Tazkirah Ramadan, and a Bubur Lambuk Distribution Program, aimed to strengthen the bonds among FKTK staff and students while promoting the values of sharing and spiritual reflection.
🌙 Majlis Iftar FKTK 2025
On 12 Ramadan 1446H, over 150 FKTK staff and their families gathered at Dragon Lecture Hall, Jejawi to celebrate the annual Majlis Iftar. The event began with a welcoming speech by Associate Professor Ir. Ts. Dr. Mohd Firdaus Omar, Dean of FKTK, followed by the doa berbuka (breaking-fast prayer).
The iftar was made even more special with a variety of delicious dishes prepared gotong-royong style, with additional potluck contributions from attendees, creating a warm and festive atmosphere.
📖 Tazkirah Ramadan: Spiritual Reflections
Continuing the Ihya’ Ramadan series, FKTK held a Tazkirah Ramadan session on 20 Ramadan 1446H. The talk, titled "Amalan 10 Terakhir Ramadan" (Practices for the Last 10 Days of Ramadan), was delivered by Ustaz Mohd Rolfaizal Rodi from PIMPIN, UniMAP.
The session provided valuable spiritual insights and practical guidance on maximizing blessings during the final days of Ramadan, encouraging attendees to strengthen their faith and devotion.
🥣 Bubur Lambuk Distribution: Sharing with the Community
On 23 Ramadan 1446H, FKTK organized its much-anticipated Bubur Lambuk Distribution Program at Surau Pauh. This annual initiative, made possible through contributions from FKTK staff, saw the preparation and distribution of 800 servings of the traditional porridge.
The bubur lambuk was shared with UniMAP staff, students, and members of the public, reflecting the faculty's commitment to community engagement and the spirit of giving during Ramadan.
FKTK extends its gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of these programs. May the spirit of Ramadan continue to inspire kindness, unity, and generosity throughout the year.
