The annual Splash Run 3.0, organised by the Student Association of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering & Technology (FKTK), Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), was successfully held with the participation of approximately 400 students and members of the UniMAP community.
The 5-kilometre fun run began at the Kolej Kediaman Tan Sri Aishah Ghani (KPTAG), creating a lively and energetic atmosphere as participants took part in the colourful annual event promoting healthy and active lifestyles among university students.
The flag-off ceremony was officiated by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Student Affairs and Alumni), Prof. Ts. Dr. Mohd Mustafa Al Bakri Abdullah, together with the Dean of FKTK, Assoc. Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Mohd Firdaus Omar, the Deputy Dean of Student Affairs, Head of Department representatives, and the FKTK student executive committee.
Also present was the Principal of KPTAG, Dr. Alida Abdullah, who joined in supporting and enlivening the programme.
The success of Splash Run 3.0 reflects the strong commitment of FKTK students in organising impactful student activities that encourage wellness, teamwork, and campus engagement beyond the classroom environment.
FKTK extends its appreciation to all sponsors and supporting parties, including MPKK KPTAG, the UniMAP Health Centre, Auxiliary Police, and the Fire and Rescue Department, for their valuable contributions towards ensuring the smooth implementation of the programme.
Through programmes such as Splash Run 3.0, FKTK continues to support initiatives that promote a healthy campus lifestyle while strengthening student engagement and unity within the UniMAP community.
