In a heartwarming display of community collaboration, the Faculty of Chemical Engineering & Technology (FKTK), Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) joined forces with Masjid Al-Ghufran, Batu 2 Lama, Kangar, Perlis, to organize a unique University Social Responsibility (USR) initiative.

The program aimed to provide support to the local community, particularly the underprivileged, by offering donated items such as clothing, books, and various used household items through the 'Free Market'. Additionally, a lively coloring contest was arranged for the children of asnaf families, adding a touch of joy and creativity to the event.

Gratitude is extended to all UniMAP staff members who generously contributed to the event by donating clothing, books, and other essential items for the 'Free Market.' Special appreciation is also conveyed to the Project Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Norainiza Saud, and the entire USR team for their dedicated efforts and commitment to serving the community.

The successful collaboration between FKTK UniMAP and Masjid Al-Ghufran reflects the university's dedication to social responsibility and community engagement. Through initiatives like the 'Free Market', UniMAP continues to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families in need within the local community.
