The Faculty of Chemical Engineering Technology (FKTK) at Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) is pleased to welcome 113 new students into its Diploma in Materials Engineering program. The orientation event, held at the university's main campus, marked the beginning of an exciting academic journey for these students.
The orientation program included an introduction to the faculty and its academic offerings. Faculty members, current students, and administrative staff participated in the event, offering insights and guidance to help the newcomers transition smoothly into university life.
The Material Engineering diploma at UniMAP is known for its comprehensive curriculum, which combines theoretical knowledge with practical applications. The program prepares students for various career paths, including roles in manufacturing, research, and development, and quality control.
"We are excited to see the potential and enthusiasm of our new students," said Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Luqman Musa, the program chairman. "We are committed to providing them with a robust education that will open doors to numerous opportunities in the field of material engineering."
