On May 10, 2023, the Faculty of Chemical Engineering & Technology (FKTK) organized a highly anticipated event, the FKTK Postgraduate Open Day. Led by the esteemed Deputy Dean of Academics & Research, Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Mohd Firdaus bin Omar, and supported by the Postgraduate Program Chairmans, the event proved to be a resounding success.

In a bid to enhance collaboration and knowledge exchange, the delegation of Chemical Engineering Department, Faculty of Chemical Engineering & Technology (FKTK), Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), made an official visit to the Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering Technology (FTKKP), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) on 15 May 2023.
During this visit, benchmarking discussions were conducted, covering various aspects such as program background, curriculum structure, laboratory management, staff career development, and student activities in the respective programs. The exchange of ideas and best practices aimed to strengthen the academic offerings and improve the overall quality of education in both institutions.
