31 May 2023 ; In an exciting endeavor to bridge academia and industry, the Faculty of Chemical Engineering & Technology (FKTK) organized a visit to T.H. Mineral Water Industries (M) Sdn. Bhd., located in Kaki Bukit, Perlis. This visit took place as part of the ongoing FKTK Industry Month, dedicated to fostering practical learning experiences for students.
The visit witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 45 final year students specializing in polymer engineering, accompanied by two esteemed lecturers. The primary objective of this visit was to provide invaluable exposure to the students in the realm of the polymer industry, particularly focusing on injection molding machines and plastic blow molding processes.
By immersing themselves in the vibrant environment of T.H. In a bid to enhance collaboration and knowledge exchange, the delegation of Chemical Engineering Department, Faculty of Chemical Engineering & Technology (FKTK), Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), made an official visit to the Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering Technology (FTKKP), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) on 15 May 2023.
During this visit, benchmarking discussions were conducted, covering various aspects such as program background, curriculum structure, laboratory management, staff career development, and student activities in the respective programs.
